Do I need to participate in the ceremonies?

Participation is highly encouraged to get the most out of this beautiful cultural exchange, but it is never mandatory. You are completely welcome to simply observe and learn from the healers with respect.

Can I buy the herbal remedies?

Yes! The community often has natural soaps, teas, ointments, and medicinal extracts available for purchase. Buying directly from them is a wonderful way to support their traditional lifestyle. Please bring small bills in Peruvian Soles.

What should I wear?

Because you will be walking around the community and gardens, we recommend comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes, long pants, and layered clothing. The temperature can fluctuate greatly depending on the sun.
